Is this free?
Yes. You can open a file, edit the table, and download your work without paying. That does not sign you up for www.phkasla.com.
Do you upload my file?
No. The file is read in this browser. Phkasla does not receive a copy of your spreadsheet. This browser may keep a local copy on this device. See the privacy policy.
What files can I open?
Spreadsheets such as CSV, TSV, Excel, and ODS. Lists in JSON or text. Word documents, PDF text, HTML tables, Markdown tables, RTF, and a list of files inside a zip. Pictures, music, video, and installers cannot be opened as a table.
Can I open a password-protected file?
No. Remove the password in Excel or Word on your computer, save a new copy, then open that copy here.
Why did a Word or PDF file show only text?
If we cannot find a table, we show the words so you can still search and copy them. Scanned PDFs are pictures of pages, so there is no text to extract.
How do I save my edits?
Use File to download Excel, CSV, or JSON. The grid in the browser is not the same as saving over your original file on disk. Download a new file if you want to keep changes.
Is this the same as www.phkasla.com?
No. csv.phkasla.com is only this file tool. www.phkasla.com is a different site for event invitations — weddings and engagements, baby showers and blessings, housewarming parties, and birthdays, anniversaries, and private gatherings.
